We have 2 policies, mine and my husband

My husband passed away in August 2020. I called United America to cancel my husband. We have been paying (auto deduct) for 10 years, never a payment missed. I asked for the amount of cash out and was told there would be none as we have a Time Life Insurance with them that does not pay out death benefits. So I cancelled both policies and am going to see my Lawyer. Be very aware getting involved with this Company. Agents have even quit them because they are not reliable.

Rude representative

Today I got off the phone with a representative named Britney she was super rude and unprofessional when I inquired information. She did not answer my questions in a professional tone. She's down right rude and unpleasant to talk to. She is a horrible representation of the company she is working for. She needs to learn how to handle phone calls and better serve the callers.

Issue with Reinstatement

Canceled UH Supplement mid-Dec 2019 due to enrolling in a Medicare Advantage plan. Rec'd the UH Refund check dated 12-27-19. Humana Gold App submit 12-5. Resub App 4-5 times Jan-Feb. Frustrated so phoned request to Reinstate UH Supplement Feb 26. Sent $61.95 ck for 3-1 eff. Rec'd UH ltr 3-13 w STATUS Policy Lapse 11-28-19?? My ck Returned. Fill form.Reapply.Pending UnderwritinApproval??? NO phone number or address on letter to write or call to question or complain.
